This is a critical feature for many different reasons, one of them being that the length of the drive time provides information to the triathlete about how strong or weak their legs are. Obviously if you are running faster than your bike is capable of sustaining speeds then your legs are likely to get tired sooner. If they are already tired when starting the bike race then chances are your legs won't be as ready as you would like them to be to go the full distance.

So it is obvious to see why the drive time is so important when it comes to choosing a bike.11-34t 11-34t What many triathletes don't realize though is that the cassette system actually has an impact on whether you can finish the race or not. If you have a very good cassette, then you have more power in your legs. If you have a weaker cassette with less power then you will be unable to keep up with the other racers.

Mountain bike cassette systems have evolved since their introduction into professional racing.11-34t 11-34t They are generally easier to upgrade and to replace than their road bike counterparts. One of the first changes is in the type of drivetrain, which is found in the cassette. For many years the two main types of cassette systems were either cassette series with a hub made from the spindle of the bicycle. Nowadays though there is another type of drivetrain which is now commonly used.

This new cassette is called the 11-34t.11-34t 11-34t It features an eight speed cassette and gear changes are made via a shifting mechanism which is simpler than the previous gear changes seen in the past. The biggest change though is in the type of drivetrain which now uses a chain and sprocket assembly. This has the effect of making the bike much lighter in weight and also makes it much easier to fix when something goes wrong.

The most popular shimano cassette cogs are the version nine speed transmissions.11-34t 11-34t These are also the gears that are currently sold with the new mountain bikes. When deciding upon the right gear for you, it would be wise to find out what brands are currently sold. While Shimano is by far the largest producer, other manufacturers such as Kona, KHS, KTM and Velocity have also made solid Shimano products.

Campagnolo has its own product range based on the new cassette design. The most popular groups are the Align rear derailleur. This groups is a little wider than that of the previous groups, the companies released in 2021. Campagnolo has also released its own version of the eleven-34 cassette, the Gossamer drivetrain. This drivetrain is geared towards a shorter shifting habit. While not particularly popular, it does have its fans.
